The Country House is located in the heart of the Estate, with a 360º view of natural beauty, and is accompanied by the peace and silence of the Alentejo countryside.
Monte da Burquilheira has been restored while preserving the traditional characteristics of an Alentejo farm. It has two suites and a living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room opens onto a porch with a unique sunset view. The farm is decorated with traditional clay tile floors baked in a wood-fired oven.
With very slow wifi and no television , during the day you can pick olives or prune the olive grove, go to the cows (see if any new calves are born, give them water and food), go fishing, ride your bike and scrape your knees, or simply read that book you never have time for by the pool.
You can also choose to take part in one of our Yoga Retreats, ceramics and/or painting workshops or a bike tour to Évora.
Accommodation Description
We rent Casa de Campo do Monte, exclusively for your reservation , so you can enjoy the unique characteristics that Herdade da Burquilheira has to offer, in its 300 hectares.
The country house consists of a living room with fireplace, kitchen and two suites, both with private bathrooms, one with bathtub and the other with walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, hob, fridge, kettle and toaster, crockery, cleaning products, etc. We have a lunch and dinner delivery service from a restaurant in the village.
The living room opens onto the porch with a unique sunset and has access to the swimming pool in the garden.
